After the IU School of Journalism joined forces with the telecommunications and film studies departments to become The Media School, they needed a new website that reflected all the possibilities available in the new school.
Our first step was to conduct research and stakeholder workshops to figure out who they were, who they wanted to be, and what students and other users needed from their website.
The common theme turned out to be storytelling—every single unit helped train students to become professional storytellers in one fashion or another. And so, the content strategy (and resulting website) focused on bringing that truth to light.
