The IUPUI Division of Student Affairs (DSA) asked us to help them create a cohesive brand that would unite all of their units, increase student engagement, and drive awareness of all they have to offer.
At the time, every department within the DSA had its own look and feel. Not only were they wildly different from one another, they did not comply with the new Indiana University brand standards.
Our job was to help them discover who they were, who they wanted to be, and what students needed most from them. During the research phase, we conducted numerous stakeholder workshops and student focus groups, eventually arriving at two core truths: as the hub for student life, health and wellness, and conduct, the DSA really is the “center of it all” at IUPUI, and everything they do helps to prepare them for their future lives.
The resulting brand materials focused on”buckets” of life skills—with each unit choosing the skills that felt most connected to their work.
To help them execute their brand, we provided them with a comprehensive brand guide and then brought it to life on their website with the help of a content strategy.
